Rhythmajik is the 3rd book cover I designed

with Temple Press. We experimented 

with a number of possible designs before 

Z'ev came up with this geometric design. 

He drew it out roughly and I sharpened it 

up and added symmetry to it by drawing 

it in ink onto graph paper.

Every time I thought it was done, Z'ev would

insist on adding more intricacies to it.

Words did the typesetting and I cut and

pasted the design in the old fashioned way

- by hand.

I think the main title was done using

Letraset dry transfer lettering, the typeface

was possibly Hawthorn.

The colours were specified from a pantone

chart - I think they have a certain resonance

with the silver spot colour of the geometric

device.
