A brooding Watercolour Landscape Painting of the North
Yorkshire Moors near Whitby with very threatening stormy
skies.
Watercolour Landscape Painting Technique:
The atmosphere is dark and wet, clouds are painted with
Payne's Grey with a hint of Olive Green.
Some of the Watercolour Paint was lifted off with a damp
Paint Brush before it had chance to dry giving the streaked effect.
The strip of bright light on the horizon hints at a break in the
clouds in the distance, and a touch of Cobalt Blue in the
foreground gives a glint of colour to what could have become
quite a dour Watercolour Landscape Painting.
